Through our consistency we can teach any horse to be soft and light in the bridle.

Teaching any horse to be quiet, calm and responsive is an important part of training that keeps us SAFE.

Another key element of training is working on the emotions of the horse to eliminate any unwanted behavioral issues.

Build a foundation that will last a lifetime.

BRIAN THOMAS COMPLETE HORSEMANSHIP

As a horse trainer, my philosophy is simple and my training methods straight-forward and easy to understand.

Whether it is ground work, arena work, or trail riding my goal is always to be safe and to be able to control my horse through the bridle (control without pain, fear or intimidation). Teaching any horse to be quiet, calm and responsive is an important part of training that keeps us SAFE.

For me, there are two key elements to reach this goal. Bridle work and working on the horse’s emotions.

An important lesson that I have learned over the years is that it’s usually not what we are asking our horse to do but how we are asking. What I call “Complete Horsemanship.”
